Rahhal Yousef – Managing Partner

Rahhal YousefRahhal is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators with a law degree, a Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration and a Master Degree (MSc) in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution from King’s College London. Rahhal has 13 years of post-graduation experience in providing legal and contract advice in the construction, oil and gas and renewable energy industries working in the GCC, Far East and Europe.

Rahhal is a native Arabic speaker and has good command of English with strong, fluent and clear communication skills (oral and written) in both languages. He obtained his academic qualifications in two different legal systems, the graduate studies in civil law and the post-graduate studies in common law, providing him with a comparative view of both legal systems.

His interest in Alternative Dispute Resolution coupled with the Arbitration training by the CIArb provided him with the skill of analysing and resolving simple and complex contractual/commercial issues by viewing problems, with a keen eye for details, from all perspectives and the use a variety of techniques appropriate to the situation to solve the same in a rational and objective manner.

Working internationally with a broad spectrum of people, strengthened his cultural empathy by adopting a collaborative approach to work and manage potential conflicts effectively, by building credibility and respect through interaction with others.

 

Graeme T G Freear – Partner

Graeme TG FreearGraeme is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (elected a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1992 and a Fellow in 2013) with a vocational degree, a law degree and 30 years of post-graduation experience in the construction industry. In 2011, Graeme was admitted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is an active member involved in organising Education and Training (Arbitration) for the UAE branch.

Graeme has worked in the UK and overseas and has acquired (across a range of project types and using a variety of standard and bespoke forms of engineering and construction contracts) considerable experience and skill in all aspects of contract management and dispute avoidance/resolution, both in common law and civil law jurisdictions.
